The official inauguration of the Phosphoric Acid Plant took place on 10/10/2015 jointly by His Majesty the King Abdullah-II and President of India Mr. Pranab Mukherjee. Capital CostThe Project Capital Cost is estimated at USD 860 million. FundingDebt : Equity Ratio 39:61. Equity contribution by sponsors USD 524.5 Million, Loans USD 335.5 Million from International Financial Corporation (IFC) and European Investment Bank (EIB) EquityIFFCO and its affiliates 52% and JPMC 48%. Loan DisbursementThe Financial Closure for the project is achieved and the first disbursal of 80 Million USD was made by the Senior Lenders on 23rd November 2011. Effective date of start of Construction Activities14th October, 2010. Commissioned and ProductionThe plant has been commissioned and production of concentrated Phosphoric Acid (52% P2O5), the final product, has commenced from 29th May, 2014. JIFCO Jordan : First shipment of Phosphoric AcidThe First consignment of 10,000 tons of Phosphoric Acid from JIFCO Jordan is loaded in the Ship on 26th June 2014 at Aqaba Industrial Jetty, Jordan for transportation to IFFCO Plant, Kandla, India. Declaring closing & capitalizingCapitalize Phosphoric Acid project at $860 million. Board declares start of regular operations wef 1st December 2014.
